Logistics Coordinator

Logistics Coordinator Primary Responsibilities for the Logistics Coordinator: Review, prepare, and route orders. Respond to internal and external customer queries. Support monitoring shipments, timelines, productivity, and communicate any delays to the appropriate stakeholders. Support addressing and resolving shipment and inventory issues. Support the daily freight operations including communications with freight service providers, customer service, and manufacturing. Support utilizing basic data mining techniques and analysis to provide proactive and timely information to management in the decision-making processes. Assist management with optimization of transportation procedures. Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned. Required for the Logistics Coordinator: High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred. 1 - 2 years of experience in international or domestic operations. Preferred for the Logistics Coordinator: Prior work experience in logistics/transportation industry is preferred but not required. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel. Detailed oriented, analytical, and able to multitask. Must work well individually and as part of a team. Strong inter-departmental communication skills. Proactive problem identification and solving skills. Strong attention to detail. Thrives in a fast-paced environment. Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
