MRI Technologist

JOB SUMMARY Provide diagnostic imaging services using magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) equipment. Key Responsibilities Perform MRI procedures as ordered by physicians. Position patients and imaging equipment to obtain the necessary diagnostic images. Administer contrast agents as required. Ensure patient safety and comfort during MRI procedures. Maintain imaging equipment and work area. Document patient care and procedure details in the electronic medical record. Schedule / Shift Block schedule: Monday through Thursday. Shift: Tuesday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM. Required Qualifications Successful completion of an accredited MRI program or equivalent. State licensure or certification as required by law. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Preferred Qualifications Advanced level MRI certification. Certifications Basic Life Support (BLS) Experience Experience operating GE MRI machines. Skills Proficient in MRI operation and patient positioning. Knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to MRI. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. EMR / Systems Epic Patient Population General adult and adolescent patient population. Unit / Specialty MRI services within a Critical Access Hospital setting.
