• Duration: Permanent position
• Shift: 26 weeks per year (1 week on, 1 week off), daily rounding, on-call from home every other night
• Hours/Week: Flexible, based on schedule
• Employment Type: Full-time salary
• Licenses/Certifications: Georgia medical license required; Board Certification in Neonatology preferred
• Experience: At least 2 years of neonatology practice experience recommended

What You’ll Do:

• Provide expert neonatal care in a Level III NICU with 66 beds
• Participate in daily rounds and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
• Manage advanced neonatal procedures including high-frequency ventilation, nitric oxide, and brain cooling
• Support and consult with subspecialist colleagues
• Contribute to medical education through clinical appointment at Mercer Medical School
• Engage in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety protocols
• Ensure compassionate, family-centered neonatal care

What You Need:

• Valid Georgia medical license or eligibility
• Certification in Neonatology (ABPN or equivalent)
• Minimum 2 years clinical neonatology experience
• Strong skills in neonatal resuscitation and critical care
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
