Our Jimmy John's franchise group has over 20 stores and we have locations all over the Charlotte/Concord/LKN Region. We are excitedly looking for the right people to build up our management team! You must be interested in food management but we do not require any prior food service experience. We do however ask that you have leadership position experience. We can teach you the rest! We have an extensive management training program that will give you all of the necessary tools to succeed at this job and any future position you desire. If you lack the leadership experience but are still interested in starting with us to grow into that position please make that clear while we are setting you up for an interview. We regularly hire people with no management experience and grow them into the manager they want to be but it is a slightly different process.

Assistant Managers help oversee in-store operations alongside the General Manager. The Assistant Manager plays a major role in ensuring the store is in exceptional order and that all employees are performing duties properly and efficiently. Assistant Managers must lead by example and execute systems and procedures with 100% integrity. As an Assistant Manager, your attitude needs to be enthusiastic, friendly, and positive.
Assistant Manager Responsibilities:
- Exceeding customer expectations in regards to service and store cleanliness
- Supervising all financial aspects of food cost and labor goals for the shift and measured periods
- Preparing and following labor schedules and product projections
- Training, supervising, and motivating crew members
- Preparations of products and maintaining quality to meet Jimmy John's brand standards
- Monitoring and use of all store service equipment
Requirements:
- Ability to work at least 44 hours/week
- At least 18 years of age
- At least 6 months of Quick Service Restaurant (QSR)/ Fast Food experience - managerial experience preferred, but not required
- Ability to handle fast-paced and high stress situations in the store
- Organize and establish priorities in the store with minimal supervision
- Willing to offer opinions and recommendations towards the store and employees
- Reliable transportation
- Excellent communication, management/leadership and organizational skills
- Physical dexterity required (the ability to move up to 25lbs. from one area to another occasionally)
- Attendance and punctuality a must!!!

- A willingness to learn and be redirected by their supervisor in order to achieve maximum teamwork, efficiency and customer satisfaction
