About the Position

Our client is seeking experienced CDL A drivers for a part-time local reefer delivery assignment in Fontana, California. This position features home-daily routes, early morning start times, and refrigerated freight delivery. The assignment is temporary and offers $32.00 per hour.

Pay & Schedule

Pay: $32.00 per hour
Schedule: Part-time; days may vary
Hours: 40 hours per week
Start times: Between 4:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m., depending on the route
Route schedule: Local and home daily
Start date: May 26, 2026

Job Details

Freight: Refrigerated products
Equipment: Tractor-trailer
Handling: Light touch; load, unload, and move products as needed

Key Responsibilities

Deliver refrigerated freight on local routes
Safely operate tractor-trailer equipment in compliance with DOT regulations
Perform routine vehicle inspections
Safely load, unload, and move products as needed
Maintain accurate delivery documentation and required paperwork
Follow all applicable safety and transportation regulations

Minimum Requirements

Valid California Class A CDL
2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
Reefer delivery experience
Ability to operate a manual transmission without an automatic restriction
Clean Motor Vehicle Record, with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years
Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
Must be at least 21 years old
Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds
