$17.00 - $25.00/hr* Shifts may vary Position Summary The Associate is responsible for maintaining the assigned area in accordance with Company policies, providing member service at exit and self‑checkout areas, handling returns, ensuring security and compliance, training front‑line associates, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. What you'll do Maintain the area of responsibility per company policies, handle returns, zone, organize merchandise, and identify shrink and damages. Provide member service at exit areas: review receipts, acknowledge members, identify member needs, assist with purchasing decisions, and help locate merchandise. Maintain self‑checkout area: resolve member issues, promote Sam’s Club products, support members regarding self‑service technology, process purchases, and handle payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges per company policies. Secure and safeguard Sam’s Club assets: observe and report potential criminal activity, maintain paperwork logs, execute emergency response procedures, and ensure compliance with security and safety practices. Assist in training Member Front‑line Service associates on company processes, new technology, tool functionality, and new program rollouts. Comply with company policies, procedures, ethics, and integrity standards using the Open Door Policy and execute related action plans. Complete work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, coworkers, customers, and partners; identify priorities, deadlines, and expectations; communicate progress and recommend improvement opportunities; adapt to change, difficulty, and feedback.
