About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cardiovascular Operating Room Duration: 20 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours (06:30 - 19:00) Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS Description: Unit details will be discussed during the interview. Call is required and is typically one weekday per week and one weekend every 5-6 weeks. Floating may occur within the facility and within the scope of practice as needed. Candidates will undergo a clinical review to determine fit. If a candidate passes the clinical screen and complies with guidelines, they will be considered by management for final decision. Maximum request time off (RTO) is 7 days. Travelers are expected to work one major holiday during their assignment period. If two major holidays fall during their assignment, they are expected to work both. If three major holidays fall during the assignment, two holidays are to be worked. Compliance is required to start on time. Candidates must complete onboarding requirements promptly to begin their assignment. The unit accepts travelers with two years of experience but also welcomes first-time travelers. Preferred experience includes LTAC, Trauma Level I, and Trauma Level II experience. Candidates should have experience charting in Epic. The unit provides interdisciplinary support, including respiratory services and interpretation services. Employee responsibilities may include pre-approved time off guidelines and call coverage. Management reserves the right to make necessary adjustments to support unit needs.
