Part Time After School Care Teacher

Now Hiring: After Care Program Teacher – School Age ProgramPremier Childcare Center in McLean, VA We are seeking an enthusiastic and responsible After Care Program Teacher to support our School Age Program. This is a part-time afternoon position with hours available between 3:00 PM and 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with scheduling based on the applicant’s availability and program needs. High school and college students are welcome to apply. This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy working with children and creating a safe, fun, and enriching environment. Key Responsibilities: * Supervise and engage children in a safe, supportive setting * Oversee daily program operations and ensure compliance with state licensing standards * Provide homework help and organize engaging activities * Manage classroom behavior and implement school policies * Transport children in a 15-passenger van when needed (valid license required) * Maintain Brightwheel app updates, vehicle logs, and other assigned paperwork * Ensure safety protocols are always followed * Build strong, positive relationships with children, families, and staff Applicant Requirements: * High school students, college students, and other qualified applicants are welcome to apply * Responsible, dependable, and enthusiastic about working with children * Ability to work during the 3:00 PM–6:00 PM afternoon program window, based on availability

• Able to safely assist children and perform routine classroom and activity-related tasks
