Position Overview

We are currently looking for a qualified Radiation Therapist with CT experience to join our team in Santa Rosa, CA. The ideal candidate will possess a valid California State License and relevant certifications.

Job Details

Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 16:30)
Daily Caseload: 25 patients per day
On-Call Requirements: Not required
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
Years of Experience Required: 1 year
Certifications Required: BLS, ARRT, ARRT (T) (Radiation Therapy), California State License
Local Candidates Accepted: Yes

Additional Requirements

ARIA skillset is required; EPIC experience is preferred.
Experience with Varian 21 EX/iX equipment is essential.
Siemens CT experience is necessary.

Job Responsibilities

The Radiation Therapist will be responsible for the following:

Administering radiation treatment to patients in accordance with physician instructions.
Collaborating with medical staff to optimize patient care.
Maintaining accurate patient records and treatment plans.
Ensuring adherence to safety standards and protocols in radiation therapy.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should possess the following skills:

Experience with adult acute care.
Ability to create custom molds and shields for radiation therapy.
Familiarity with tumor localization and block cutting techniques.
Proficiency in imaging technologies including CBCT/kV/mV imaging.
Competence in using radiation safety measures and responding to urgent situations.

The successful candidate will be a part of a supportive multidisciplinary team focused on providing exceptional care to patients.
