Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding Pediatric Neurologist to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/South Brooklyn Health. South Brooklyn Health is a redesigned health care campus featuring the new 11-floor Ruth Bader Ginsburg Hospital which provides emergency care, modern labor & delivery suites, and state-of-the-art surgical services. The new Health & Wellness Institute offers outpatient services from primary and preventive care, to specialty services for children and adults, all designed to keep our community healthy. Dedicated to providing the highest quality health care services to all New Yorkers with compassion, dignity and respect, and regardless of immigration status or ability to pay.Opportunity Details:Evaluate and diagnose neurological disorders in pediatric patients.Develop and manage treatment plans tailored to each patient, which may include medications, therapy, or surgical referrals.Provide ongoing management of chronic neurological conditions.Collaborate with other pediatric specialists, rehabilitation therapists, and social workers.Educate families on disease management, treatment options, and long-term care.Contribute to teaching and training of residents and medical students.Active NY State medical licenseBoard certified or board eligible in Pediatric NeurologyWages and Benefits include:Annual Base Salary: $242,000* (Board Eligible); $252,000* (Board Certified) based on 40-hour work week. Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours.The annual total value of compensation package is estimated at $361,720** (Board Eligible) and $372,720** (Board Certified), which includes the baseline salary, 401(k) contribution, sessional/per diem hours, and other factors as set forth below:Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours worked per week is $55,520.Projected bonus of up to $40,000 (based on previous year’s average), contingent upon meeting quality and productivity targets.401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits):Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings.
