Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced interventional radiology/cardiac catheterization lab technician to support invasive procedures in a busy cath lab. The role involves performing advanced diagnostic and therapeutic interventions with a focus on patient care and technical proficiency.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Perform and assist with complex interventional radiology and cardiac procedures, including left heart angiograms, PCIs, pacemaker implants, ports, drains, AAA, and STEMI interventions.
  
  
• 
  Operate and troubleshoot GE cath lab equipment, ensuring optimal functioning during procedures.
  
  
• 
  Document procedures accurately using the Merge documentation system and maintain thorough patient records.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with the clinical team, including scrub techs, circulating nurses, and recording RTs or RNs, to ensure efficient workflow and patient safety.
  
  
• 
  Adhere to unit policies, guidelines, and safety protocols while maintaining a professional appearance in designated attire.
  
  
• 
  Support float policies by assisting in EP or IR procedures based on prior experience, rotating regularly within the team.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold a minimum of 1 year of cath lab or interventional radiology experience.
  
  
• 
  Certified as AART or RCIS with interventional cath lab expertise; EP and radiology experience preferred.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate advanced skills in performing diagnostic and therapeutic interventions listed in the job description.
  
  
• 
  Possess a valid state license or certification specific to radiologic technology.
  
  
• 
  Be able to work 9-hour shifts Monday through Friday with on-call responsibilities.
  
  
• 
  Exhibit strong teamwork, communication, and patient care skills.
