Responsibilities - Translate business requirements and data mapping documents into technical designs that deliver value. - Develop, enhance, and maintain ETL code using Python, PySpark, DataStage, and SQL, adhering to best practices and SDLC standards. - Design and execute comprehensive unit test plans; support regression and system testing. - Troubleshoot and resolve issues during testing and production, ensuring data integrity and system reliability. - Collaborate cross-functionally with technology teams on enterprise-level projects. - Communicate project status, issues, and blockers clearly within the team. - Identify opportunities for process and system improvements, championing best practices in data management. Required Skills and Experience - Bachelor's degree or military experience in a related field, preferably computer science. - Minimum 3 years of hands-on ETL development in a Data Warehouse environment. - Proficient in Python/PySpark, DataStage, and SQL. - Experience with cloud migration projects, ideally in Snowflake, AWS, or Azure. - Solid understanding of enterprise data warehousing best practices and standards. - Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, risk management, and incident response. - Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills. Preferred Skills - AWS Certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, etc.). - Experience in financial services or banking environments.
