Overview Travel Respiratory Therapist – Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Location: Lawrenceville, Georgia, United States Start date: 09/14/2026 Duration: 16 weeks Weekly pay: $1,621–$1,633 per week Guaranteed hours: 36 per week Shift: 2x3 days Setting: Hospital, Travel - Temporary Assignment This opening is a travel position managed by Healthforce Healthcare LLC. The assignment requires working in a hospital setting with a schedule that supports travel needs and clinical coverage across shifts. There is a holiday coverage requirement as described below. Key Highlights Weekly pay: $1,621–$1,633 per week Guaranteed hours: 36 per week Contract duration: 16 weeks Shift: 2x3 days Start date: 09/14/2026 Travel assignment with no local candidates within 50 miles Holiday coverage: must work two major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year’s Day) and one minor holiday (the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year’s Eve) Setting: hospital-based respiratory care with diversified patient care Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive respiratory care per physician orders, including assessment, treatment, and documentation of responses. Manage ventilator support, adjust settings per protocol, monitor patient status, and collaborate with the medical team on weaning and escalation plans. Administer inhaled therapies, chest physiotherapy, airway clearance techniques, and oxygen therapy; monitor effectiveness and adjust as needed. Perform arterial blood gas collection and analysis when indicated; interpret results and communicate findings to the care team. Assist with patient assessment, participate in care planning, and ensure safety, infection control, and equipment maintenance. Document interventions accurately, maintain equipment readiness, and respond to changes in patient condition in a timely manner.
