Business Process Technical Assistance

Location: Pierre, SD Duration: 2.5 Years

Minimum Qualifications:

• Have at least 2 years' experience with the implementation of an eligibility and enrollment system, with preference being for South Dakota-specific experience.
• Have knowledge of federal legislation effecting Medicaid and CHIP programs (e.g. Social Security Act, Affordable Care Act, etc.).
• Have knowledge of Medicaid eligibility criteria (MAGI or Non-MAGI) with preference being for South Dakota specific experience.
• Have experience and knowledge of the CMS Medicaid Eligibility and Enrollment Toolkit (MEET).
• Have knowledge and experience working with legacy eligibility and enrollment systems.

Responsibilities:

• Attend status meetings with the E&E system and IV&V vendors
• Review vendor deliverables and provide comments and recommendation to approve or request changes for each deliverable
• Participate in requirements validation, system configuration and design sessions
• Assist with the review of test cases provided by the vendor and the development of additional test cases and test data to facilitate user acceptance testing
• Participate in User Acceptance Testing
• Assist with update of EA policies, procedures and user manuals
• Other duties related to testing as assigned by the EA Division Director or her delegated representative, as needed.
