Duties of the assistant include, but are not limited to the following:

• Dental operatory set up & break down
• Assist hygienist/provider with procedures and tasks as needed
• Help other assistants stay on time as needed
• Update general patient charting with documentation in a timely manner
• Establish a rapport with all patients and validate treatment recommendations made by the doctor
• Other duties as assigned by team leader and department leader
