Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA. Active New Jersey Physical Therapist license required to start the assignment. BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from AHA or ARC may be required. Experience working in skilled nursing facility settings preferred. Minimum clinical experience with geriatric populations and post‑acute rehabilitation preferred. Demonstrated proficiency with therapy documentation systems and electronic medical records preferred. Assignment Details Facility Type: Skilled Nursing Facility. Shift Name: Days. Shift Details: Days 08:30-16:30. Schedule: 5x8. Floating: Candidate may be required to float to other facility locations as needed. Location Highlights Allenwood, NJ offers convenient access to both outdoor recreation and regional urban centers. It lies within commuting distance to the Pine Barrens and Wharton State Forest, with state park trails and canoeing options located approximately 20–40 minutes away. The area provides reasonable driving access to Philadelphia (about 60–75 minutes) and the Jersey Shore beaches (roughly 45–70 minutes), matching both suburban and coastal lifestyle preferences. Travel options include nearby regional highways and commuter connections to larger transit hubs, providing straightforward access to cultural attractions, dining districts, and historic sites in central New Jersey and neighboring Pennsylvania.
