Medical Office Administrator
At Southwest Rehabilitation, we believe exceptional patient care starts with a strong support team.
We're looking for a friendly, organized Medical Office Administrator who can keep our office running smoothly while providing excellent service to patients, families, and healthcare partners.
Requirements
- Medical office experience
- Experience in medical coding and billing
- Experience and proficiency medical records management
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
- Exemplary customer service skills and work ethic that demonstrates leadership by example
- Computer literacy and adept with MS Word and Excel
Job Duties
- Ensure compliance with current healthcare regulations, medical laws and high ethical standards
- Scheduling
- Medical coding and billing
- Review treatment plans and obtain prior authorization for treatment
- Manage the daily operations of the office
- Track and monitor data, manage patient recordkeeping
- Address and research patient billing inquiries and requests
Schedule
- Monday though Friday, 8am-5pm
Rate of Pay
- $20.00 to $25.00 per hour, depending on experience
