Mechanical Engineer

This is a strong opportunity for someone ready to grow into a Team Leader and, over time, a Mechanical Engineer of Record.Position Summary:In this role, you’ll perform mechanical design work across a variety of projects under the direction of a Mechanical Engineer of Record. You’ll support day-to-day production, help move design work forward with confidence and ownership, and collaborate closely with project teams to deliver high-quality solutions. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions:Perform mechanical design work on a range of projects under the direction of an MEORDevelop construction documents as part of a collaborative design teamSupport HVAC calculations and related design software tasksUse Revit and Bluebeam to produce and coordinate project deliverablesAssist with construction administration tasks and site visitsWork in tandem with project leadership to advance design intentDelegate and coordinate tasks with designers as neededTake ownership of assigned deliverables and maintain a strong work ethicRequired Qualifications:EIT requiredBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field5+ years of relevant mechanical engineering or design experienceProximity to the assigned office for weekly travel and site workExperience producing mechanical systems design work in a professional AEC environmentApplicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; this position is not eligible for current or future employment visa sponsorship.Preferred Qualifications:PE license or progress toward licensure strongly preferredExperience directing or guiding designersStrong proficiency in HVAC calculations and softwareAdvanced skills in Revit and BluebeamExperience with construction administration and field/site coordinationDesire to grow into a Team Leader and Mechanical Engineer of RecordWork Environment and Location:This position offers a hybrid work environment, with a requirement of two in-office days per week in our Los Angeles, CA office. All candidates must be located in and eligible to work in the U.S.Compensation:Salary Range: $110,000 - $130,000 (depending on experience)The base salary range represents the low and high end of the compensation scale for this role. Actual salaries will be determined based on location, experience, responsibilities, and qualifications.
