Job Opportunity: Family Medicine Physician

Our organization is on the lookout for a Board Certified/Board Eligible Family Medicine Physician to become a part of our Residency Faculty. Candidates should have prior experience in teaching within a Residency or Medical Student environment. The selected faculty member will be responsible for delivering clinical services and supervising residents in various settings, including inpatient, outpatient, and obstetrics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical services in inpatient and outpatient settings.
  • Supervise residents during their training.
  • Engage in obstetric care as part of the residency program.
Qualifications
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine.
  • Experience in teaching within a Residency or Medical Student context.
About Our Family Medicine Residency
  • Founded in 1997.
  • Comprises 7 full-time faculty members, including a Program Director with clinical responsibilities.
  • Hosts 30 residents, including 6 in a Rural Track.
  • Collaborates with a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC).
  • Accredited in Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine.
  • Offers an Integrated Medicine curriculum option.
  • Handles approximately 5,000 inpatient visits annually.
  • Manages around 14,000 outpatient visits each year.
  • Conducts about 200 obstetric deliveries per year.
  • Located at a Level Two Trauma Center.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Competitive base salary with performance bonuses.
  • Sign-on bonus of $50,000.
  • Eligibility for National Health Service Corps loan repayment.
  • 403B retirement plan.
