Overview Centurion is the provider of medical and mental health services to the Florida Department of Corrections. We are seeking a Full-Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join the team at Avon Park Correctional Institution in Avon Park, Florida. Responsibilities Provide holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients under the direction of Registered Nurses (RNs) and medical/psychiatric staff. Respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs. Shift Full-Time Night shift; 3-12 hour shifts with rotating weekends. PRN available. Qualifications High school diploma or GED equivalent required. Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license or ability to obtain one required. Active CPR certification (Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation). Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check.
