About the Position

Job Title: Inpatient Pharmacist Profession: Pharmacy Specialty: Pharmacist Inpatient Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 5x8-Hour Hours per Shift: 08:00 - 16:00 Experience: Residency preferred or equivalent experience License: License in hand required with submission Certifications: None required Must-Have: Weekend coverage required Description: The Inpatient Pharmacist position is responsible for providing pharmaceutical care in an inpatient setting. Residency training is preferred for this role or equivalent experience in pharmacy practice. First-time travelers are accepted for this position. Weekend work will be required. No on-call duty is necessary for this position. The facility is open to accommodating block scheduling depending on shift availability. Pending licenses will not be accepted. Requests for time off are negotiable but should be kept to a minimum. There are no special requirements for this role. Compliance documentation will be due by the Wednesday prior to the start date. Expectations include working some holidays, and any requests for time off must be included in the initial submission. Patient age groups and diagnoses will vary, and interdisciplinary support is available within the unit.
