Field Service Technician

Deliver customer service and resolve problems at client sites Handle customer complaints and inquiries professionally Provide expert instruction on BD Parata pharmacy automation products, including operating procedures and daily maintenance Respond to service requests within established SLA timeframes Collaborate with regional and national service team members to identify and resolve sophisticated technical issues Assist the Product Implementation Team with new automation installations when needed Document issues and resolution actions in Salesforce Field Service Lightning Support pharmacies across multiple environments through regional travel and service Requirements High School diploma 3-5 years of experience in a field service role Proficient knowledge of Microsoft operating systems, including Windows 2000, XP, Windows 7, Windows 10, and Windows 11 Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications Extensive knowledge of basic computer networking Ability to use Windows tools to identify network/PC information Ability to set up and configure routers and switches Ability to locate and edit configuration and XML files within file structures Understanding of ghosting and re-imaging processes Strong mechanical proficiency and ability to use standard hand tools for disassembly and reassembly Proficiency with digital multimeters and voltage/amperage testers Ability to travel regionally, including overnight stays, and periodically outside the local region Availability for weekend, holiday, and occasional overtime coverage Ability to lift/carry/push/pull up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally Ability to stand for 10-12 hour shifts on occasion Ability to meet extensive physical activity, dexterity, mobility, and transportation demands Daily car travel averaging approximately four hours and occasional air travel Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in customer service and problem resolution in field service roles, with proficiency in Microsoft operating systems and basic computer networking.
