Job summary

The Material Handler I is responsible for moving production materials and parts efficiently and accurately within the warehouse and production areas. This role involves operating material handling equipment, managing inventory transactions, and maintaining a safe and clean work environment.

Responsibilities

• Move production materials and parts into and out of warehouse shelves, storage bins, and production locations
• Receive and put away inbound deliveries
• Pick and issue parts for production jobs
• Make inventory and other transactions in company systems accurately and timely
• Ensure the warehouse is safe, clean, and efficient
• Check completed parts for compliance with quality standards and make necessary adjustments
• Operate various material handling equipment including sit-down and stand-up forklifts, pallet jacks, dollies, cranes, and pallet stackers
• Unload and load delivery trucks, trailers, and outside carriers
• Ensure proper movement of materials

Qualifications

• Stand-up forklift experience is required
