Financial AnalystSmiths Interconnect, a Molex company, is seeking a Financial Analyst in our Irving, Texas or Kansas City, Missouri location.You'll join a dynamic team that works closely with business leaders to strengthen our workplace culture and drive operational excellence.What You Will Do:Business partner-oriented environment.Reporting to the Finance Director and supporting the Semi Test BU team across financial reporting & pricing, contributing to revenue and margin growth and driving improved forecast accuracy.Collaborate with business partners & analyst peers to ensure consistency & best practice in partnering with stakeholdersReview and supply advice on opportunities to ensure continuous enhancement of our business partnering, to drive growthWork with other areas including Operations and Finance teams, to ensure we are aligned and working collaborativelyEnsure strong governance & control around the pricing & business partnering processes & reportingWorking with the business systems team to identify & evaluate system needs to enhance the pricing process and management reporting to both monitor & drive improvements in business & individual performance.Finance Business Partnering:Act as the day-to-day Finance Business Partner to the Semi-Test leadership and commercial teams, providing financial insight to support pricing, customer decisions, product mix, and investment trade-offsPartner with Sales, Product Line Managers, and Operations to identify risks and opportunities, and help translate financial results into clear actionsSupport pricing and margin discussions by analyzing product, customer, and market profitabilityProvide insight into new products, new customers, and new markets, helping leaders understand performance trends and implicationsForecasting, Planning & Commercial Analytics:Support bookings and sales forecasting in collaboration with Commercial teams as part of the S&OP processMonitor and analyze the CRM pipeline, sales funnel, and distributor POS data to support demand planning and outlook accuracyEvaluate forecast changes and variances, clearly communicating drivers and assumptionsSupport Sales Incentive Plan calculations & communicationMonth-End Reporting & FP&A Discipline:Own monthly orders, sales, and margin reporting, including clear explanations of performance versus prior year, budget, and forecastPartner with the Finance Director to ensure timely, accurate, and well-explained month-end close outputsDevelop and deliver management reporting that is decision-oriented, not just backward-lookingAnnual Planning & Continuous Improvement:Support the development of the annual operating plan and budget process for Semi-TestWork with Finance, Operations, and Business Systems teams to improve reporting, forecasting tools, and processesEnsure strong governance and consistency across pricing, forecasting, and reporting processesProvide monthly orders, sales, and margin reporting – working with the business team to explain movements to prior year, budget, and latest forecastIn collaboration with the commercial teams, manage bookings & sales forecasts, as part of the S&OP processWork with Finance Director & commercial teams to understand risks & opportunities to forecast (with relevant action plans)Evaluate and monitor progress on sales relating to new products, new customers, or new marketsReport on the CRM pipeline & sales funnel, looking for valuable insights, and driving planning outcomesWork with Product Line Managers to review product line margin performance, creating insights to both price & cost structureAnalyze the point of sale (POS) data from the distributor networkWork with functional teams and aid in development of annual operating budget planWho You Are (Basic Qualifications):Preferred 2-4 years' experience in a similar role with a history of successOccasional business travel needed (5%, as needed)Knowledge of Salesforce, Glovia ERP, Power BI, Epicor ERP preferable but not essentialConfident communication, ability to challenge business teams effectivelyAbility to balance short term demands with a long term, strategic agendaComfortable to work in rapidly changing environmentIdentified training mandatory for the role to be completed competentlyExcelGlovia / Epicor ERPSalesforcePower BIKey Internal & External Stakeholders & RelationshipsFinanceSales and Marketing teamsEngineeringOperationsLegalBusiness Systems teamAt Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
