Join us and become part of a community that invests in your success.WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:As a Cosmetology Learning Leader, you will plan and instruct classes on haircutting, grooming, hair color, cosmetology theory, and professional development, utilizing Paul Mitchell systems and culture. Your responsibilities will include working directly with students, known as Future Professionals, in the Clinic Classroom to support their guest services. You will actively coach and assist students, offering both technical guidance and instruction in essential salon skills such as guest consultations, re-booking, and retailing. By consistently modeling the Paul Mitchell culture, you will demonstrate positive professional habits and set an example for all students.REQUIREMENTS:Current California Cosmetology license3+ years of full-time experience working as a cosmetologistSalon/barber shop experience, with strong results in building clientele, up-selling, rebooking, and retailingExcellent organization, coaching, and communication skillsSkills in supervision, teamwork, documentation, and return on investmentPassion for the beauty and barbering industriesHonesty and professionalismPassion for educating, learning, and helping othersTeaching experience (major plus)Knowledge in Paul Mitchell Schools' cultural and technical systems (preferred)If you are interested in joining our beauty team as a Cosmetology Learning Leader, we encourage you to apply using our mobile-friendly application.
