Site Lead

Position Summary Site Lead responsible for all site‑related activities at the assigned CERCLA/RCRA site and directly supporting LM Site Managers. Typical scope includes operations to support remediation, environmental monitoring, reporting, inspection, and maintenance of institutional controls. Stakeholder engagement is essential. Site Leads ensure safe execution of work by the project team. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Plan, develop, review, and approve work products to meet Contract Deliverables identified in the SOW/PWS, including quarterly and annual reports, LTSP updates, CERCLA/RCRA documentation, and environmental monitoring reports. Manage scope, schedule, and budget via EVMS; develop baseline and serve as Cost Account Manager for monthly financial reporting. Ensure close coordination with LM Site Manager(s) and direct supervisor for reporting up the LMS chain of command. Plan and authorize work under IWCP, issue work via a Work Authorization Form. Maintain communication with Emergency Management, update Site Emergency Response Information. Provide input for routine reporting – Weekly Site Operations, Monthly TSR updates, LM status requests, etc. Provide timely contribution to Functional organizations for Contract Deliverables as requested. Communicate with regulators and stakeholders; develop agendas, presentations, meeting notes, and personal communications. Conduct Management Assessments and support QA representatives with internal and external audits; address AIMS issues as needed. Communicate with Functional organizations regarding resource needs, upcoming field work, projects, and document review/submittal. When assigned direct reports, manage via coordination with HR and Learning; approve timesheets, expense authorizations, and expense reports; conduct performance evaluations and mentor staff. Keep current with all required training. Manage records in accordance with Information Management requirements. Manage FIMS assets in accordance with Asset Management requirements. Maintain the site Risk Register. Work on site approximately one week every month or as directed by the CERCLA/RCRA manager. Other duties as assigned. Required Education and Years of Relevant Experience Bachelor’s degree in science, business, engineering, or related field. Experience in lieu of education will be considered. 7 years of relevant/supervisory experience; 9 years preferred. Licenses and Certifications Valid Driver’s License. No professional certification required; PMP certification preferred. Required Skills and Abilities Proficient administering project controls using EVMS procedures for scope, schedule, and budget. Proficient with IWCP and Integrated Safety Management System requirements. Excellent verbal and written communication. Knowledge of CERCLA/RCRA regulations and processes. Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Strong language, mathematical, and computer skills. Clearance and Health Requirements Criminal background check. Pre‑placement drug screening. Fit for Duty Test (if applicable). Essential Physical Requirements Medium: Work involves moving objects with 20 to 50 pounds force occasionally, or 10 to 25 pounds force frequently, or above‑negligible amount up to 10 pounds constantly. Physical demand exceeds light work.
