responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary Safety, Compliance, and Regulatory (SCR) representative on cross-functional product development teams.
• Translate international regulations and standards into technical product requirements and design inputs.
• Coordinate safety and compliance testing activities while reviewing and approving test plans and reports.
• Evaluate the regulatory impact of design, material, labeling, packaging, and software changes.
• Investigate compliance issues, perform structured root cause analyses, and support audit readiness.

 
qualifications:

Required:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Regulatory Affairs, Quality, Biomedical, or a related scientific discipline.
• Experience: 3 to 7+ years in product compliance, regulatory affairs, quality, safety engineering, or certification within a regulated product environment.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of product development from concept through commercialization.
• Standards: Core familiarity with IEC/EN/UL standards, EMC, risk management, product labeling, and regulatory submission processes.
• Chemical & Environmental: Proven exposure to chemical compliance (RoHS, REACH, Prop 65) and global market access requirements.
