Job Description

Job Summary:
Provides essential surgical assistance in the operating room, ensuring patient safety and effective care throughout procedures. Maintains a sterile environment and supports surgical teams by preparing and maintaining instrumentation and equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare, assemble, and maintain surgical instruments and equipment for procedures.
• Assist surgeons by scrubbing in on a variety of surgical cases.
• Ensure adherence to sterile techniques and maintain a safe surgical environment.
• Participate in 24-hour call coverage to support surgical operations.
• Maintain work area cleanliness and organization to promote safety and efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Washington State Surgical Tech license.
• Possess current American Heart Association BLS/CPR certification.
• Demonstrate prior experience supporting surgical procedures across multiple specialties.
• Exhibit excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Be able to work effectively in high-pressure, fast-paced environments.
