Temporary Billing & Data Entry Clerk

Location: Stockton, CA
Pay: $22–$27 per hour, DOE
Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday
Assignment: Temporary coverage for a leave of absence

We are actively seeking a Temporary Billing & Data Entry Clerk to join a respected materials and logistics-focused company serving customers throughout the region. This temporary opportunity provides critical coverage during a leave of absence and offers the chance to become an important part of a close-knit office team that values reliability, collaboration, and a willingness to jump in where needed.

In this role, you'll help keep billing processes moving efficiently by entering and reviewing high-volume transaction data, supporting invoice preparation, maintaining organized records, and assisting with administrative functions.   If you enjoy organized work, take pride in accuracy, and can confidently manage multiple priorities, this is an excellent opportunity to make an immediate impact through invoice processing, data entry, and administrative support. 

What You’ll Do

• Enter customer invoices, delivery tickets, sales information, and other billing data accurately and efficiently
• Review billing paperwork for accuracy, completeness, and proper documentation
• Match delivery tickets, purchase orders, and supporting documents
• Assist with preparing and processing customer invoices
• Maintain organized electronic and paper files
• Help respond to internal and customer billing questions as needed
• Provide general administrative support to the office team during the leave coverage period

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience in billing, invoicing, accounts receivable, data entry, or office administration
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Comfortable using Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and computerized accounting, billing, or ERP systems
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Professional communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
• Experience in soil, aggregate, construction materials, trucking, landscaping, or a related industry is a plus, not a must
