Registered Nurse (RN)The unit specializes in various patient types, including:Total jointsCardiac rule outPneumoniaPsychiatric casesGeneral surgery post-operative carePatient Ratios:1:5 nurse-to-patient ratioNurse Aides present with ratios of 1:8 to a maximum of 1:12Required Certifications:BLS (AHA)Candidates must possess experience and skills in:Administration of nitroglycerinInsulin management (including initiation and transfer)Low dose dopamine and dobutamine (rarely utilized)RN's are required to titrate heparin drips, which are weight-based.
