Your Impact as a Credentialed Veterinary Technician As a Credentialed Veterinary Technician, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional patient care, working within a supportive specialty environment. You will work alongside veterinarians and specialists and assist in all aspects of patient care. Your Impact Will Include Advanced Clinical Skills: Performing patient examinations, auscultating heart and lung sounds, and determining normal vs. abnormal TPRs. Nursing Excellence: Providing quality care, including restraint, bandage maintenance, and administering medications (PO/IV/SUBQ/IM). Anesthesia & Surgery: Assisting in surgery, maintaining aseptic environments, performing endotracheal intubation, and monitoring anesthesia. Laboratory & Imaging: Performing laboratory procedures (hematology, blood chemistry) and managing diagnostic imaging and radiographs while ensuring safety protocols. Client Communication: Educating clients, obtaining accurate medical histories, and explaining symptoms and treatments. Pharmacy Management: Preparing and dispensing medications, calculating dosages, and handling biohazardous materials per safety regulations. What You'll Bring To The Team Required: Veterinary Technician Certification or Licensure (CVT, RVT, LVT, LVMT). Strong communication skills and the ability to educate clients with compassion.
