What you'll need to succeed:

• Active RN or LPN license in Rhode Island
• Experience providing nursing care to elementary-age children (preferred)
• Ability to work independently and make critical decisions in a fast-paced school setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Organized, dependable, and adaptable to evolving student needs
• School-based nursing or pediatric experience is a plus

Key responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to elementary students including administering medication, monitoring chronic conditions, and responding to health emergencies
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to ensure individualized healthcare plans are implemented
• Maintain accurate health records and documentation according to school and state guidelines
• Educate students and staff on health and wellness topics
