Senior Quality Engineer – Greater Billerica, MA
Growing manufacturer of advanced products serving the medical device, defense and semiconductor industries seeks an experienced Senior Quality Engineer to own product quality in an assembly-based environment where quality is a competitive differentiator — not an afterthought.
What You'll Do
Drive CAPA, lead audits, and resolve customer quality issues with urgency. Partner with production to eliminate non-conformances, scrap, and rework. Own supplier quality at key sub-tiers. Mentor teams on 8D, 5-Why, and DMAIC. Present monthly quality data to leadership.
What You Bring
- BS in an Engineering discipline and 3+ years, degree preferred; OR no degree and 8+ years’ applicable experience
- Hands-on background in assembly-based manufacturing
- ISO 9001 experience required; AS9100 a plus
- Proficiency with GD&T, FMEA, SPC, Six Sigma, calibration
- Strong root cause analysis skills – 5-Why, fishbone, 8D
- US Citizenship required
Compensation: $100,000–$120,000 + bonus eligible | 1st or split shift
