Job Summary Under general supervision, the Registered Nurse II provides individualized, goal‑directed patient care to families and patients at the competent level utilizing the principles and practices of the nursing process, delivers safe and effective care, and interacts with other members of the health care team to achieve desired results. Responsibilities Provide individualized, goal‑directed patient care. Deliver safe and effective care. Collaborate with other health care team members. Qualifications Bachelor of Nursing or Associate of Nursing Degree preferred. Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state. Current Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications. Physical and Mental Requirements Ability to perform job functions while standing, sitting, walking, climbing stairs, working indoors, and outdoors in temperature extremes. Ability to perform job functions from elevated and confined spaces, kneeling positions, bend, twist and rotate at the waist, reach overhead, handle repetitive motions, maintain firm grasping and fine manipulation, lift up to 50 lbs unassisted, maintain vision and hearing acuity, manage stress, work rotating shifts, overtime, and in a latex‑safe environment.
