Full Stack Application Developer

Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Full Stack Application Developer with over 5 years of expertise in Java to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications. The role involves working with Java, Spring Framework, Hibernate, and React to build scalable RESTful APIs and microservices, supporting cloud deployments and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines in a remote setting. Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain full stack applications using Java, Spring, Hibernate, and React.
  • Develop and implement RESTful APIs and microservices for scalable system integrations.
  • Deploy and manage applications on Apache Tomcat and cloud environments.
  • Build containerized applications using Docker and support CI/CD pipelines via GitHub.
  • Develop and optimize PL/SQL procedures, functions, and Oracle database queries.
  • Collaborate with product owners, architects, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Write automation and scripting solutions for build, deployment, and operational tasks.
  • Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and production support activities.
Required Skills & Certifications:
  • 5+ years of Java development experience.
  • Backend technologies: Java, Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC), Hibernate.
  • Frontend technologies: React, JavaScript, HTML, CSS.
  • Database experience: Oracle, PL/SQL.
  • Application server: Apache Tomcat.
  • Integration technologies: REST APIs, JSON, Web Services.
  • DevOps tools: Docker, GitHub, CI/CD pipelines.
  • Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Scripting skills: Shell scripting, Python, or automation scripting.
  • Familiarity with AI tools such as Claude or similar.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
  • Experience with microservices architecture.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes and container orchestration.
  • Experience in performance tuning and designing scalable architectures.
Special Considerations:
  • Remote work environment requiring self-motivation and effective communication.
Scheduling:
  • One-year contract duration with flexible remote working hours.
