Stern Family Center for Rehabilitation Manhasset, NY Northwell Health’s Division of Geriatrics and Palliative Medicine is seeking an BE/BC Internist, Family Medicine physician, Geriatrician and/or Palliative Medicine physician to join the Stern Family Center for Rehabilitation in Manhasset, New York. The Stern Family Center for Rehabilitation is an award-winning 252-bed academic, skilled nursing facility providing short-term sub-acute inpatient rehabilitation and skilled nursing services. It is ranked as one of the top nursing facilities in New York State. Awarded a five out of five-star rating for overall quality from the federal government’s U.S. Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services and is in the country's top 10% of nursing facilities. Highlights Include: Practice in an award-winning facility with an interdisciplinary team of employed and voluntary physicians, ACPs, and support staff Provide care on a dedicated 31-bed Sub Acute Unit Participate in the education and mentorship of Geriatrics fellows Flexible schedule with a 1:8 call rotation Collaborative research opportunities at the Feinstein Institute for Medical Research The ideal candidate will be board certified/board eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine with subspecialty training and/or board certification in Geriatrics or Hospice and Palliative Medicine and will have an interest in academics, stimulating cases, transitional care, and sub-acute rehabilitation.
