SENIOR ACCOUNTANT

Role Overview

Stardom Employment Consultants is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to support accurate financial reporting and accounting operations for a respected client. This position is ideal for an experienced accounting professional who can work independently, analyze financial data, and contribute to process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Perform general ledger maintenance, account reconciliations, and journal entries
• Manage month-end and year-end close processes
• Analyze financial results and prepare variance reports for management
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis
• Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules and documentation
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting procedures and internal controls

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting principles
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting or ERP systems
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines and communicate effectively
