You'll receive a competitive salary, excellent benefits plus an amazing PNW lifestyle – a perfect combination!Work Shift: VariablePay Range: $28.91 - $42.37Union: UFCW 3000-Professional and TechnicalShift Differentials/Premiums:Evening - $3.00/hourNight - $5.00/hourWeekend - $4.50/hourPharm Night - $8.50/hourPremiums:Standby - $4.00/hourLead - $3.25/hourPer Diem - 15% (on base, in lieu of benefits)Certification - $2.00/hourTrainer - $2.00/hourStudent Coord - $2.00/hour, 2+ = $3.25/hourJob DescriptionAccurately performs pharmaceutical calculations and prepares intravenous admixtures, including hazardous drugs, based on OMCC protocol/procedures. Ensures compliance with USP 797 and USP 800, including routine cleaning, environmental sampling, and daily documentation. Maintains inventory control of pharmaceuticals and supplies. Performs daily charge review. Delivers supplies. Maintains records. Assists with training new staff. Performs clinic and nursing unit inspections. Performs other duties as required for quality control and regulatory compliance.EducationGraduate of a Washington State Board of Pharmacy approved Pharmacy Technician training program.ExperiencePrefer minimum of 1 year experience compounding with aseptic technique in both vertical and horizontal laminar airflow hoods, experience handling hazardous drugs, experience with hospital drug distribution systems (i.e. Pyxis), hospital computer systems (i.e. Epic), and other hospital related systems.Licensure/CredentialsCertification as a Pharmacy Technician in Washington State required.National certification as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) preferred.Benefits Information:Olympic Medical Center is an Equal Opportunity Employer that values workplace diversity.
