Department Overview

At Marshfield Medical Center, our Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology (CIRV) team provides advanced, life-saving care in a specialized procedural setting. Nurses collaborate with skilled physicians during cardiovascular, neurovascular, and interventional procedures, caring for patients in both planned and emergency situations. We seek candidates with expertise in sedation, hemodynamic monitoring, and emergency interventions.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate patient care, assessments, education, triage, and various nursing interventions.
• Collaborate with colleagues, including physicians, to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Provide empathetic care to patients throughout all stages of preventive services, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up.
• Demonstrate competency and utilize comprehensive nursing expertise.

Qualifications

A graduate from an accredited nursing program is required, including institutions recognized by the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA). A Bachelor's Degree in nursing is preferred.

Must hold an unencumbered RN license from the State Board of Nursing where practice occurs, and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state. Required department-specific competencies and certifications must be obtained and maintained.
