Internal Medicine Physician

Looking for a full-time Family Medicine/Internal Medicine Doctor for Foley, Alabama.
This position is located near Pensacola, Florida and i along the coast.
Clinical Management Functions:

Manages individual patient care activities at the Center.
Confers with the Chief Medical Officer and CEO as needed.
Supports and maintains the competence and quality of all clinical support staff.
Consults with members of the provider staff on clinical issues or coordinates appropriate continuing education and in-service training.
Assures safety and adequate maintenance of Center s medical records.
Conducts or supervises an ongoing quality assurance program.

Clinical Responsibilities:

Provide primary care services as appropriate under licensure and standards of care by specific scope of practice by specialty to patients at the Center as scheduled.
Provides both in-patient and out-patient care as appropriate by specialty if credentialed by area hospital.
Provide medical direction for health care activities.
Periodically review patient medical records for accuracy and completeness.
Provide medical orders and patient referrals as appropriate.
The Physician shall refer and coordinate in-patient hospitalization for the Center s patients at the hospital of the patient s choice and/or at a facility as required pursuant to insurance contract guidelines.
Maintains Credentials at area hospital as appropriate and as required.
The Physician shall cooperate with the Chief Medical Officer in arranging for alternative back-up call, however, Physician must be available for call unless back-up support, approved by the CEO is available.
