Adjunct Professors Needed

Houston Christian University seeks adjunct professors to join the Department of Law & Society with the ability to teach Rhetoric and Speech Communication classes. Review of applications will begin immediately and continue until the positions are filled. Adjunct needs change from semester to semester. Job responsibilities include utilizing a course syllabus for each course and following established departmental and institutional guidelines, providing timely, quality access to students via personal consultation, electronic communication, and other appropriate methods, evaluating students by established means to measure their progress in achieving course objectives and to inform them in a timely manner of their progress, maintaining professional relationships with students, colleagues, and the community, submitting paperwork and forms in a timely fashion, and performing other duties as needed.

Qualifications include an MA or PhD in Speech Communication and teaching experience preferred.
