Customers come to depend on Parallel Ag to get any job done and we are looking to add a highly motivated Parts Manager to our team! The Parts Manager is responsible for driving excellent customer service through parts transactions for our customer's and service team members. It will be the goal of the Parts Manager to lead the team towards company goals while maintaining customer relations and supporting the work of other departments in the dealership. Their purpose is to continue learning the business and gain the knowledge and experience necessary to work within the framework of the Parallel Ag business model.Essential Functions: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Responsibilities and duties of the Parts Manager will include the following:Develop a deep understanding of the Parallel Ag product portfolio for farm equipmentGain agronomic knowledge to reference during the sales processCreate and maintain legendary customer service and building a team-minded environmentPerform counter sales and answer customer inquiriesEffectively collaborate with other department leadersStrive to successfully achieve all departmental goalsProcess daily, weekly, and preseason parts orders and parts returns in a timely mannerBe open to hear opinions from staff about daily operations and proceduresManage staff scheduling (lunches, Saturdays, on call rotation, etc.)Oversee shipping and receivingFill and prepare orders, via phone or in person, for shipment or for customer pickup dailyEnsure workplace is a clean, safe, and friendly work environmentAddress any discrepancies in parts inventoryCheck in daily and stock orders as neededMaintain team environmentQualificationsExperience, Education, Knowledge, Skills, and other Requirements:High School Diploma or GED is requiredExcellent customer service skillsParts experience in heavy equipment, agriculture, or automotive industries preferredPositive attitude and desire to work as a team playerStrong verbal and written communication skillsProven ability to establish and maintain positive work relationships with co-workers, vendors, and customersAbility to professionally manage difficult customer situationsComputer proficiencyUnderstanding of financial statements is a plusBe available for 24 hour on call rotationsWillingness to learn and adapt to new people and environmentsCommitments:Service Oriented: Our success revolves around customer service; we value service always as a priority.Honesty & Integrity: We value honesty and integrity in every interaction whether it is with a customer or a coworker, no matter what.Committed & Passionate: We are committed to our customers and the job they have to do.
