Key Responsibilities

• Contribute professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of patient care as a member of the interdisciplinary team.
• Perform respiratory therapy assessments, treatments, and interventions in accordance with established clinical standards.
• Utilize the EPIC electronic medical records system to document patient care accurately and in a timely manner.
• Float within the same discipline across local campuses as needed.
• Participate in orientation scheduled on a weekly basis, beginning each Monday.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of current Respiratory Therapist / RRT experience within the past 24 months.
• Active Illinois (IL) Respiratory Therapist license at time of submission; Iowa (IA) license also required or proof of application for IA single-state license at time of offer acceptance.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC).
• Current ACLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC).
• Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
• Valid driver's license required.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Professional reference or performance evaluation from a charge nurse, supervisor, nurse manager, director, CNO, or COO within the past 24 months.
• Experience with EPIC electronic medical records system.
