Job Title

Travel RN – Labor & Delivery (Night Shift)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care throughout labor, delivery, and recovery on a dedicated Labor & Delivery unit
• Perform triage assessments and antepartum monitoring for obstetric patients
• Circulate for cesarean section procedures in the OR
• Deliver first-hour newborn care (excluding admission assessment and eyes and thighs)
• Provide breastfeeding assistance and patient education to postpartum patients
• Utilize electronic monitoring equipment and EMR systems to document and manage patient care

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
• Current Intermediate Fetal Heart Monitoring certification (within the previous 2 years)
• Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
• Current BLS certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working at high-volume facilities with more than 3,000 births per year
• Strong patient-centered care approach with an emphasis on individual patient preferences
• Comfort working within a culturally diverse patient and team environment
