Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting
• Deliver nursing assessments, interventions, and evaluations for emergency and trauma patients
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Rotate weekend shifts every other weekend and work holidays as required by the unit
• Arrive clocked in and ready for report at the start of each scheduled shift

Required Qualifications

• Valid Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience required
• ACLS certification (American Heart Association)
• BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• PALS certification (American Heart Association)
• TNCC certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Minimum of 2 years of recent Emergency Room experience strongly preferred
• Level 1 Trauma experience strongly recommended
• Preferred certifications include ENPC, NIH Stroke Scale, and CPI
