Bilingual Customer Service Specialist

To support a nonprofit's mission, the part-time Bilingual Customer Service Specialist will assist clients via a text-based helpline, providing information on local food resources while working remotely from Maryland, Texas, or Georgia. Key responsibilities Respond to inbound text messages and occasional phone calls from clients seeking food assistance Listen empathetically to clients and refer them to appropriate food resources Collaborate with a small remote team while maintaining a flexible schedule for varying shift assignments Required qualifications Fluency in both English and Spanish, with strong written communication skills Typing speed of 50+ words per minute Experience in customer service, hospitality, or community care is preferred Ability to work between 4 to 29 hours per week, with availability during 9am-6pm ET any day of the week Access to a computer with stable internet and a quiet workspace for remote work
