Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years preferred License: State or Compact license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: - Previous charge experience - Experience with patient ratios of 1:6 - Proficient in Epic charting system - Travel experience preferred Description: This position requires a Registered Nurse specializing in Medical Surgical care. The shift consists of 3 twelve-hour night shifts. Two years of experience in a similar setting is preferred. Travel experience is an asset for this role. Certifications in ACLS and BLS are mandatory. The patient-to-nurse ratio on the unit is 1:6. Candidates must have experience in a charting system, specifically Epic. The unit cares for adult and geriatric patients with various diagnoses, including pneumonia, respiratory failure, sepsis, and more. The daily census for the unit averages around 30 patients. Interdisciplinary support is available from various healthcare services. Floats may be required per staffing needs.
