• Shift: 24-hour call shifts (day shift clinic hours while on call, 8a-8a; onsite 8 hours/day, Mon-Fri)
• Hours/Week: Approximately 40 hours/week
• Employment Type: Contract
• License/Certifications: VA License, BC in Hematology/Oncology, BLS, DEA
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of Hem/Onc experience
• Patient Population: Adults 18+
• EMR: Epic

What You'll Do:

• Provide inpatient consultations and outpatient care for hematology and oncology patients at multiple facilities.
• Maintain clinic responsibilities, including Friday clinic coverage at JMH.
• Support tele-consultations for additional facilities during call weeks.
• Collaborate with dedicated nursing staff and multidisciplinary teams.
• Support patient management for adult patients with complex hematology and oncology needs.
• Document patient encounters accurately in Epic EMR system.

What You Need:

• VA Medical License in hand (required before start date)
• BC in Hematology/Oncology
• BLS certification
• DEA registration
• Minimum 1 year of hematology/oncology experience
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Clean background, no MP history (settled or unsettled)

This role involves floating between two prominent facilities, supporting adult hematology and oncology patients with a diverse case load, including inpatient consultations, outpatient follow-ups, and telehealth support.
