Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience.

• Experience with Cerner is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Kansas license or compact license (required for submission).

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• 6 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Ascension Health Resource and Supply Management Group, LLC (Direct) - Main and no current placement allowed at Program: Ascension Health Resource and Supply Management Group, LLC (Direct) - Main.

Additional Details:

In order to receive travel rate, clinician’s claimed residence must match address on driver’s license. Ascension Health does not accept vaccine/Tdap declinations.

Required Credentials: Driver License is required for RN/LPN/PTs working on a compact license. MOAB Moderate Risk Special Requests: Current Ascension employees cannot apply for travel roles. Candidates need to have employment separation for at least 6 months to be considered for a travel position. Unit Details: Medical/surgical cardiovascular unit. No drip titrations. Lab collects blood specimens. RNs start IVs, and an IV team is available for additional support. RNs do not perform EKGs or discontinue sheaths. Telemetry with remote monitoring. Shift & Scheduling: Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week. Every other weekend required.
