Director of Nursing (DON)Aston Park Health Care Center, Inc - Asheville, NC 28806OverviewPosition Type: Full Time Job Shift: First Shift Travel Percentage: NoneDescriptionAston Park is seeking to hire a Director of Nursing (DON) to join our team.Responsibilities:Provide leadership and direction to the nursing staff.Oversee the delivery of quality care to patients/residents in various healthcare settings.Manage and coordinate nursing operations, including staffing, scheduling, and budgeting.Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and guidelines, including Medicare regulations.Review and analyze documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans.Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to nursing staffStay updated on current trends and advancements in nursing practice.Qualifications (Minimum Job Requirements)Valid nursing license in the state of employmentDegree in nursing or related field (preferred)Proven experience in a leadership role within a healthcare setting.Experience: Preferred prior experience in geriatric nursing; previous supervisory experience.Specific skills/abilities:RN license, currently licensed to practice in the state of North Carolina.Certified or able to be certified in CPR.Strong leadership abilities to effectively manage a team of nurses.Strong communication and interpersonal skillsPay and Benefits:Base pay will depend upon experience.$10,000 Sign-on bonus for benefited positions (Paid out in increments over two years of employment)Daily Pay available.
